Mark your calendar!  MMSCA will offer two professional development opportunities this year.  You won't want to miss the first on October 4, 2017 at Columbia College from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Dr. Rene' Yoesel, Director of School Counseling for DESE, will be there to discuss current legislation which affects the MO Comprehensive School Counseling Program and DESE program development work being conducted.  Rene' will be joined by Stacey Williams, Suicide Prevention Coordinator, and Rikki Barton, Director of the Regional Support Center.

On March 8, 2018 at Stephens College from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Dr. Shari Sevier, MSCA Director of Advocacy, will present tools for developing leadership, legislation and advocacy.

How do I get registered for the October meeting? I have joined the organization, but I do not see a link for registering for the meeting.

I also welcome all the students who are going to become the part of the academic year. I also encourage them to work hard and don’t indulge too much in the extra-curricular activities so that their studies are affected.
