Counselor Resources

The Mid-Missouri School Counselor Association (MMSCA) is one of the twelve district organizations within the Missouri School Counselors Association (MSCA), and has a rich, proud heritage.

The first “unofficial” Mid-MO meeting was held in the fall of 1963 under the efforts of Diana Townsend.  On January 26, 1976, MMSCA was officially affiliated with the state organization, then known as the Missouri Guidance Association.

The Mid-Missouri School Counselor Association serves twelve counties in central Missouri (Pike, Lincoln, Warren, Montgomery, Audrain, Gasconade, Osage, Callaway, Cole, Boone, Howard, and Cooper).  The purpose of MMSCA is to help counselors to help people-and we have been doing this well for over 45 years!
